The UNESCO International Centre for Water Security and Sustainable Management (i-WSSM) launches the Call for Papers for the ‘Global Water Security Issues (GWSI) series’.

Under the theme: Making water decisions for Climate Change Adaptation, the UNESCO International Centre for Water Security and Sustainable Management (i-WSSM) invites applications to contribute chapters to the next publication on Global Water Security Issues. Five sub-themes are contemplated in the Call: (i) Governance and uncertainty, (ii) Nature-based solutions and infrastructure, (iii) Land Use Planning, (iv) Knowledge, tools and Risk Management for Water Security and (v) Education and Public Engagement in Climate Adaptation Decisions.

Selected papers will be presented at IWRA webinars and/or an international event, such as the World Water Forum. Contributions must be original and not previously published. Case studies are encouraged, and the language of submission is English. Final published papers should be between 20-30 pages.
