Transboundary water cooperation is essential for supporting environmental conservation, community well-being  and sustainable development across borders. But, how can we transform dialogue into measurable progress?

Our webinar ‘From Dialogue to Action: Enabling Transboundary Water Cooperation for Peace and Prosperity,’ the final session of the series  “Water Cooperation: Overcoming Challenges, Showcasing Achievements, Shaping the Future,” examines recent progress and existing challenges in translating agreements and commitments into action.

Drawing on their experiences, our expert panel will share lessons on overcoming barriers to cooperation and putting shared commitments into practice, highlighting how effective transboundary water management can contribute to peace, stability, and prosperity.

The four-part webinar series is organised by IWRA jointly with UNESCO-IHP within the framework of the UN-Water and in collaboration with the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE), the International Association for Water Law (AIDA), the International Association of Hydrogeologists (IAH), the Stockholm International Water Institute (SIWI), the Geneva Water Hub, including other key partners.
