Current Positions: Secretary General of the International Network of Basin Organisations (INBO) since 2018, which promotes the implementation of integrated water resources management at the scale of river, lake and aquifer basins. Director General of the International Office for Water (IOWater) since 2017, an association that aims to develop skills to better manage water, in France and worldwide, particularly in the field of professional training, water data and information systems, technical and institutional support and international cooperation. He currently serves has Chair of the IWRA Awards Committee.

Professional Experience: Eric has worked on the implementation of public water policies in France, including European regulations. He has held various responsibilities for the State and several local authorities, not only in water and environmental policy, but also in innovation, research and territorial development, at the French, European and international levels.

Academic Background: He is an engineer from Polytechnique and of the Génie rural, des Eaux et des Forêts (AgroParisTech). He holds a thesis in the field of wastewater treatment.
