Session Title: ‘Smart Water Cities: Key performance indicators and lessons from case studies’

 Session objectives:
The session examined the concept of Smart Water Cities and analysed how “smart”cities manage urban water resources. It discussed different water challenges that cities currently face and presented some of the measures that cities can implement and their impact. Attention was given to the Smart Water Cities project by IWRA, K-water and AWC, UNESCO’s “Seal of Excellence” and the Busan Eco Delta Smart City Project.
