The XVIII World Water Congress was held in Beijing, People’s Republic of China from 11- 15 September 2023. It was jointly organised by the General Institute of Hydropower and Water Resources Planning and Design at the Ministry of Water Resources of the People’s Republic of China, IWRA, and IWRA’s China Chapter.

The XVIII World Water Congress successfully concluded with approximately 3000 registered attendees, including experts, scholars, and delegates from 83 countries and regions, along with 36 international organisations.
