Current Positions: Director of Strategy and Development at the World Water Council

Professional Experience: After having served as Director of the 10th World Water Forum that she managed comprehensively. During this Forum preparation, she dealt with hydro diplomacy and water cooperation in the Asia pacific region. Previously she was the Executive Director at the Korea Water Forum, organisation dedicated to Korea’s international cooperation on water. She embarked on her career in the corporate water sector in 2010 as Program manager at the Korea water resource corporation. She has also been a member of UNESCO IHP national committee of Korea and already served as a Director in in the IWRA Board from 2019 to 2021; as such she took a role in the ISC of World water congress in Korea. Thus Mrs Kim has a solid experience and competence in the field of water in the private sector and the public sector as well. She is familiar with the managing of institutions, both at the national and international level. In addition she is part of a very large network of international experts on water.
