Ulrike Kelm serves as IWRA’s Deputy Executive Director, where she supports the Executive Director and the Board in the strategic development and operational coordination of the Association’s global programmes, partnerships, and governance processes. Prior Ulrike acted as IWRA’s Communications Director.

Ulrike is an international relations and communications professional with more than 20 years of experience working for global organisations in the international water domain. Before joining IWRA, she held senior communications roles with United Nations entities, governmental entities, and international membership-based organisations.

A German national, Ulrike has lived and worked in Latin America, Western Europe, and the MENA region. She holds Master’s degrees in International Relations and Communications Management.
