Qiushi is an expert in water law and regulation, river basin water resources protection, drinking water source protection, pilot studying for the city’s water ecosystem conservation, environmental impact assessment, the wetland protection, transferring water projects to the wetland, of water quality and water using efficiency standards and etc.

Qiuchi was the ISC Co-Chair of IWRA’s XVIII World Water Congress and made significant contribution to the success of the Congress. She served in many international water-related organisations, such as Member and Vice Chair of Global Water Partnership for the 2017-2020 period, and the Bureau Member of World Water Council for the 2019-2022 period.

She has published many professional articles in China and world famous academic journals.
