DESCRIPTION:The 6th International Conference on Water Resource and Environment (WRE 2020) will be held at Tokyo University of Agriculture\, Tokyo\, Japan from August 23rd to 26th\, 2020. \nInternational Conference on Water Resource and Environment (WRE) is an annually-held conference. It aims to provide a platform for professionals and specialists to present their latest findings\, opinions and views; to provide a forum to discuss the latest thinking by some of the leading scholars and experts of the world; to publish the best papers presented to advance the state of knowledge of water science in the world. \nWRE2019\, WRE2018\, WRE2017\, WRE2016 and WRE2015 were held smoothly in Macao\, Taiwan\, Qingdao\, Shanghai and Beijing successively. You are cordially invited to participate in WRE 2020 in Tokyo\, Japan. \nGreater Tokyo is the world’s most populous metropolitan area and is the center of Japanese culture\, finance\, and government. The city boasts a large number of world-class institutions of higher education\, the highest concentration of universities in Japan. DESCRIPTION:Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and resulting cancellation of World Water Week 2020\, with which the August meeting of UN-Water traditionally meets back-to-back\, the 33rd meeting of UN-Water has been rescheduled as a virtual event. The meeting was originally planned to take place from 21-22 August 2020\, in Stockholm\, Sweden. \nThe 33rd UN-Water Meeting will take place virtually for an open session on Tuesday\, 29 September 2020\, with participation from UN-Water Members\, Partners with Special Status\, Partners and Observers.
