DESCRIPTION:AFRICA 2021 ~ Water Storage and Hydropower Development for Africa \nLake Victoria\, Uganda (15-17 March 2022) \nThe Aqua~Media team is delighted to announce the next regional conference for Africa\, to be convened in partnership with ICOLD and the Government of Uganda\, from 15 to 17 March 2022 at the luxurious Speke Resort Munyonyo\, beside Lake Victoria\, in Uganda. \nAFRICA 2021 – the Fourth International Conference and Exhibition on Water Storage and Hydropower Development for Africa will bring together experts from all parts of the world\, to focus on topics of specific relevance to Africa. It focuses on the 2030 Agenda for transformative action. This vision is a roadmap with four priorities: water security and sanitation; cooperation; rural development; and means tools. \nBy bringing together Governments\, the private sector and civil society organizations to strengthen the implementation of actions needed to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals\, the 9th World Water Forum will also provide a platform for expression for all stakeholders (including women’s groups\, youth\, farmers\, pastoralists and fishermen) and thus contribute to the qualitative transformation of people’s daily lives and improving the performance of the productive sectors. \nJoin us in this endeavour to improve the quality of life of people worldwide.
