DESCRIPTION:Beginning in 2024\, the International Water Resources Association (IWRA) will organise a biennial\nhigh-level congress that focuses on the specific challenges and opportunities faced by island communities.\nThe first in the series will take place in the Faroe Islands from 4th to 6th September 2024 under the theme of\n“Freshwater and Islands: Administration\, Collaboration\, and Innovation.” \nThe Islands Water Congress aims to create a forum for island-specific responses to water opportunities\nand challenges. It’s a celebration of freshwater within an island context\, and is policy-relevant and useful\nfor water professionals working on islands\, and in Small Island Developing States (SIDS) in particular.o
