Claire Miller is a communications, strategy and public policy specialist, with particular expertise in water, climate change, agriculture and the environment.
She worked as a journalist for more than 20 years, reporting for a leading Australia daily newspaper, before switching careers into public policy. She has advised water ministers and various agricultural industries on Australia’s water policy reform agenda.
Claire has a Masters Degree in Environmental Studies, and is a director on the board of the East Gippsland Catchment Management Authority. She writes regular news contributions to the Ecological Society of America’s monthly journal ‘Frontiers in Ecology and the Environment’, and is the author of ‘Snowy River Story’, a 2005 book about the seminal campaign to restore environmental flows to one of Australia’s iconic rivers.
